I have heard casually of the post of Technical Secretary to the Director of Public Works in Hong Kong and vaguely remember that Tickle, one of the Engineers, filled it. While I am pretty hazy in my recollection I think you will find that if such a post exists nobody else would have been selected to fill it.
I looked in to see you the other day and am sorry I missed you. I will take another opportunity shortly.
